I spent two decades in journalism before I started writing the stories I actually wanted to read. 

I write paranormal romance — dragons, vampires, shifters — about difficult people who have done things they can't take back. My heroes are possessive, and my heroines don't need rescuing, although they sometimes accept the help. The books are steamy, they move fast, and the fated mate bond is never convenient for anybody. 

I'm cynical about most things. I'm not cynical about love. Every book ends happily, and that's a promise I keep.
